We all have a story to tell! We all need encouragement to share what we want to say in words on the page.
Every week the Keweenaw Learning Center hosts times for writers to come together in the center to write. We create a safe environment for creativity to thrive. Additionally, the group camaraderie helps us stay accountable to our writing goals.
We provide comfortable desks and chairs as well as WiFi and hot beverages (tea and coffee galore). Also, regular discussions about everything writing related erupt spontaneously at break times. Sometimes we brainstorm new creative ideas, while other times we debate grammar points. The workshop setting changes to accommodate the needs of those in attendance on any given day.
